Statement of Faith

  • Bethel Communion Church is a Christ-Centered Nondenominational Church founded upon the infallible word of God. As such, we believe and teach the apostles doctrine, endeavoring to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.
  • We believe in the Bible, both the Old and the New Testament as the inspired word of God without error and are the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of mankind, and the divine absolute authority for every Christian's faith.
  • God- We believe that there is one God the creator of heaven and earth infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ- We believe that Jesus Christ is True God and True Man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as the complete and ultimate sacrifice to the sins of this world. He rose from the dead and ascended into the heavens where he is seated at the right hand of the majesty and is now a high priest and advocate.
  • Holy Spirit- We believe that the Holy Spirit is to continue the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to convict mankind of their sin, regenerate the believing, indwell, direct, teach, strengthen, and empower the believer for Holy and godly living.
  • Man- We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin, therefore it is only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit that salvation and true spiritual life can be achieved.
  • Salvation- We believe that salvation can only be found in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and His resurrection, for those who believe and receive Him as their Lord and personal savior, through faith and are born of the Holy Spirit to become children of God.
  • The second coming of Christ- We believe in the pre-millennial second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that it is very essential part of our life and relationship with Him as Christians.
  • Resurrection- We believe that there will be bodily resurrection of all those who are dead in Christ to an everlasting life. And for the unbeliever there will be judgement and everlasting condemnation.
  • The Church- We believe that the Church is the body of Christ consisting of all persons who have receive Him as their Lord and personal savior through faith, and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit, united together and recognize Him as the Head.
  • Baptism- We believe in water baptism by immersion soon after a person accept Christ as his or her Lord and personal savior. This testifies that he or she is dead to sin, and resurrected to a New Life.
  • The Lord’s Supper- We believe that the Lord’s Supper is set forth as a sacred, symbolic ordinance, which is to be performed as a memorial by the Church in remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and that only the true believers must partake in it.
